Hanson shout it out song12/28/2022 “Carry You There” is a rollercoaster of a song that gets so amped up at times that it recalls early Bruce Springsteen. There is much more of a rock feeling on this album and while I think a lot of it sounds like something The Rocket Summer might have made three years ago, there are several standout tracks. The same semi-whiney vocals, piano-driven beats and uncanny harmonization that are yes, even on “Mmmbop”, still rule Hanson’s musical style. After giving it just one continuous go-through, I forced the songs I liked most upon my coworkers. Shout It Out was released June 8, 2010.I had all these preconceived notions about what to expect from Shout It Out, but I decided I couldn’t be that judgmental because from what my thirteen-year-old self remembered, Hanson was a pretty solid group of musicians. I think it got a lot of hipsters to check out how the band has progressed in the past ten years, so I guess that’s cool. It was in the middle of the day and I couldn’t make it, but one of my best friends skipped class and had nothing but good things to say. #HANSON SHOUT IT OUT SONG FREE#I remember when the band gave a free concert at our (kind of) alma mater the University of Arizona in conjunction with Tom’s Shoes. Instead, "(Record labels would say) 'Hopefully we'll sell a million records at Target.' It's not the future of music," Zac says. Record labels make the mistake of not changing, he says. But at the same time, they have been able to transform the way they communicate with fans to keep up with a changing music industry, with events like the live stream and an active blog on their website. Now, the three brothers are personally responsible for their successes and their failures. Hanson has done some unusual things lately that major record labels might not have allowed, including covering the song "Furry Walls," featured in the comedies "Get Him to the Greek" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." The band also plans to play five concerts singing every song from their albums and stream live on the Internet.īeing on an independent label has its challenges, too, says Zac. Maybe it was the break with their major record label in 2003 and the subsequent creation of their own independent record label 3CG that have allowed the band so much freedom. But if you go and try and chase things, not only will you not be happy but you'll be left without a career and nothing to show for it." We just figure you make the music you're passionate about and people will respond to a passion in your music. #HANSON SHOUT IT OUT SONG SOFTWARE#I mean, there's no vocoder (a voice-changing piece of software used in many current pop songs) on it, but it's just what we do. "'Shout It Out' definitely doesn't sound like what's on the radio. Zac believes strongly in Hanson's natural sound that's unaffected by technology and by popular musical molds. and the Temptations as influences behind the record. Zac cites Tom Petty, Otis Redding, Sammy Davis Jr.
